Aria Home Health, provides care from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. On-call nurses are available during off-hours.

In today's rapidly changing health care field, the home is increasingly the setting of choice for providing and receiving health care. As a result of this trend, staff can meet your needs by providing a wide array of health services in the comfort of your home. We are pleased that your physician and you have chosen use to ease your transition from hospital to home.

For those in the greater Philadelphia area, all services are coordinated under the physician's plan of treatment, respecting the dignity of each patient and recognizing the stress an illness or disability can place on your family. Guided by this philosophy, the staff of Aria Home Health Services creates a plan of care with you and for your unique family environment.

In order to receive our services, you must require skilled care and be under the treatment of a physician. Medicare and most other health insurance plans provide coverage for skilled home health care. Aria Home Health Services will be pleased to assist you in determining the extent of your insurance coverage and in submitting claims to your insurance carriers. We cannot guarantee that your insurance carrier will cover home care. We will make every attempt to have your services covered and keep you aware of status.

Visiting Professional Nurses provide intermittent nursing care including wound and colostomy care, diabetic teaching, cardiac monitoring, medication and diet instruction. Additional health teaching and treatments will be provided as ordered by your physician.

Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurses (CWOCN) manage conditions such as stomas, draining or complex wounds, fisculas, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, nueropathic wounds, urniary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and functional disorders of the bowel and bladder. These registered nurses assist staff in setting guidelines for patient care in accordance with regulatory standards, agency policy and physician orders.

Licensed Physical Therapists rehabilitate you to a functional level thorough exercise programs and instructions in the use of adaptive devices or prostheses.

Certified Speech Pathologists assist you with speech, language or hearing disorders in order to improve your ability to communicate and also will address swallowing difficulties as ordered by a physician.

Licensed Occupational Therapists improve your independence in self-care activities of daily living through the use of adaptive devices and exercises.

Medical Social Workers assist you and your family in accepting and understanding the social, emotional and cultural factors related to your illness. Assistance is also given in obtaining community resources when needed.

Home Health Aides provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of our professional staff.

Registered Dietitians may assist with nutritional instructions as appropriate.

Laboratory Tests, Diagnostic Studies, Medical Supplies and Equipment can be provided in your home, with the assistance of Aria Home Health Services staff, as ordered by your physician.
