Healthcare Executive will oversee all operational functions of the 112-bed, medical/surgical facility.

Richard J. Galup, MBA, MS, OTR/L, former Administrator of the Heart and Vascular Institute for the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, PA, and Chief Operating Officer at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA, has recently been named to the position of Executive Director at Aria Health’s Bucks County Campus, a 112-bed, medical/surgical facility located on Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne, PA.


In this role, Richard will oversee all operational functions at Aria Health-Bucks County, which provides inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, and surgical care.  Aria Health-Bucks County has also developed a strong network of primary care physicians that provide a wide range of healthcare services for the entire family, with an emphasis on preventive health and wellness services.

Richard earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA.


Richard is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA), and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).   He is also a recipient of the Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce certificate in exemplary leadership.
