Manoj Khandelwal, MD, Joins the Staff of
Aria Health as Director of the
Peripheral Vascular Disease Program
Manoj Khandelwal, MD, has recently been named to the position of Director of the Peripheral Vascular Disease Program at Aria Health, the largest healthcare provider in Northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County.
As Director of Aria Health’s Peripheral Vascular Disease Program, Dr. Khandelwal and clinical staff treat vericose veins with endovenous laser ablation and sclerotherapy, minimally invasive procedures which improve blood circulation in the legs to prevent amputations.
In his role as an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Khandelwal performs the entire range of interventional and diagnostic procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization laboratories, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, structural heart disease including atrial septal defect and patent foramen ovale repairs, angioplasties, peripheral catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), and placement of carotid stents to prevent strokes.
Dr. Khandelwal earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY, and completed an internship and residency in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA.
He continued his training with a fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York, NY, and went on to complete an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA.
