Richard S. Chang, MD
Richard S. Chang, MD, FACS, leads Thoracic Surgery at Aria Health and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Chang graduated from McGill University with degrees in architecture and physiology. He received his Medical Degree from Hahnemann University. His training includes a Surgery Residency at New York Medical College and a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at Jefferson.
Dr. Chang is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a fellow of American College of Surgeons and was nominated as a “Top Doc” in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 by Philadelphia Magazine. In addtion, he was recognized as a “Top Doc” by US News & World Report, in two of the last three years.
