Aria Health - Torresdale Wins 2009 Delaware Valley Healthcare Council (DVHC) Gift of Life Award
Aria Health's Torresdale Campus has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2009 DVHC Gift of Life Award. The award is presented for outstanding performance in organ donation and transplantation, recognizing achievement of reaching an organ donation conversion rate of 71 percent from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. During the award time period, 17 patients were organ donors, bringing hope to the thousands of patients awaiting the gift of a lifesaving transplant. Representatives from Aria Health will be presented with the 2009 DVHC Gift of Live Award at the DVHC Annual Meeting set for October 23, 2009.
