Aria Health is dedicated to continually improving the health of our community.  That’s why we now offer low dose CT scans for early detection of lung cancer. These scans are safe and are more effective at detecting early onset of lung cancer than traditional x-rays. However some cancers might not be detected via these scans, and further testing might be required.

At Aria, we recommend screenings for those who fit the following criteria as noted by several national cancer organizations and the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force:

   ·    A current smoker, or a smoker who has quit within the past 15 years, between the ages of 55 and 80
   ·    A history of heavy smoking

Aria's lung cancer screening team draws from a wide range expertise to care for program participants.  Click on the links below to find out more about these multidisciplinary departments, specialties, and programs.
