Program Director Dr. Rob Danoff, DO, MS
Rob Danoff, D.O., M.S., FACOFP is a family physician and program director of The Family Practice Residency, as well as the combined Family Practice/Emergency Medicine Residency programs at Aria Health System, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Rob graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his postgraduate medical training at Aria Bucks Hosptial. He also has an M.S. degree from Syracuse University and an M.S. degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His graduate school training focused on environmental health. Dr. Rob believes in a preventive approach to medicine and encourages his patients to "take charge of their health and to the CEO of their personal health care." He also has a focus on integrative medicine, which combines traditional Western medicine with proven complementary medical practices.
Dr. Rob is the medical correspondent for CN8, The Comcast Network, a regular contributor to CBS3 in Philadelphia, WCBS newsradio 880 in New York, MSN Health and Fitness, Discovery Health Online and has been a medical contributor to the New York Times Special Features. He also writes a weekly medical column for The Bucks County Courier Times and Doylestown Intelligencer, Bucks County PA. Dr. Rob serves on the Board of his local YMCA, the honorary board of Gilda's Club, Delaware Valley, Pennsylvania, as well as helps to coordinate the medical efforts for Back on My Feet, an organization dedicated to helping the homeless, "one step at a time."
